Letter from Town of Dunn Chairman Ed Minihan

Sunday, March 4th, 2012 @ 3:24PM

Dear Editor,

I am writing to ask voters residing in the 47th Assembly District to join me in voting for Robb Kahl.  In my capacity as the Chairman in the Town of Dunn, I have the opportunity to work with many officials from neighboring municipalities.  As Monona Mayor, I know Robb got things done by working with people and building bridges when groups and individuals had opposing views.

During the course of the campaign he has reached out to a wide variety of groups and individuals.   Early on, he attended a Town of Dunn board meeting to learn more about us and since day one of his candidacy he has spelled out his thoughts on issues on his campaign website and responded to surveys and newspaper questions so voters could read for themselves where he stands.

I also appreciate the fact that even though he was being subjected to a baseless personal attack from his opponent, Robb’s first response to was focus on issues that matter to voters.  Along those lines, I appreciate that Robb consistently addresses reasons for voters to choose him on November 6th – not why someone should not vote for his opponent.  His opponent has chosen a different tact and, in doing so, makes it very clear that Robb Kahl is the best person on the ballot to serve as our next Representative in the Assembly.

If you, like me, are upset with politics as usual under the Capitol Dome then I ask you to join me in voting for Robb Kahl on November 6th.

Sincerely,

Ed Minihan

Town of Dunn Chairman
