Local Support Grows for Robb Kahl

4/19/2012

(Monona, WI) – Robb Kahl, Democratic candidate for the 47th Assembly District and former Monona Mayor, has earned the endorsement of several local groups including:

The Building and Construction Trades Council of South Central Wisconsin – this organization represents over 4,000 private sector union construction workers from various trades. “I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the men and women in the construction industry. I understand the struggling economy has taken a particularly hard toll on people working in the construction trades and I look forward to working in the next legislative session to help strengthen the economy and put these men and women back to work on construction sites throughout the state,” stated Kahl.

Dane County Deputy Sheriff’s Association – this organization represents the men and women working in law enforcement throughout Dane County who protect and serve the public.  “I understand the vital roles the members of the Dane County Deputy Sheriff’s Association serve in protecting our safety and property and making Dane County a great place to live.  I am truly humbled by their endorsement and I appreciate their support,” added Kahl.

The 47th Assembly District covers all of McFarland and Monona and parts of Fitchburg and Madison.  It also encompasses all or part of the towns of Cottage Grove, Blooming Grove, Dunn and Madison.
