SEIU Wisconsin State Council Announces 3rd Round of Fall Election Endorsements

8/7/2012

(Milwaukee) SEIU Wisconsin State Council announced its third round of state legislative endorsements for the fall 2012 election.

“In this busy election year, it’s important to know who the candidates are and who will stand up for working families,” said Mike Thomas, SEIU Wisconsin State Council president. “Our members know the importance of endorsing and voting for candidates who not only talk about jobs, public education and health care, but take action and stand up against out-of-touch politicians who let money dictate how they legislate. Now more than ever we need strong, pro-active legislators who will go the extra mile to ensure that all Wisconsinites have access to family-supporting jobs, quality health care and reliable public services. We are confident these candidates will be the champions we need in Madison.”

The fall primary election is August 14th and the general election is November 6th.
